Moderator: Good evening and welcome to this panel debate on the purpose of banking, building trust, and serving clients. Today, we have an esteemed group of bankers from different eras with us. My family has been involved in banking for over two centuries, and we have been instrumental in financing major historical events such as the Napoleonic Wars. JP Morgan: I am JP Morgan, founder of J.P. Morgan & Co. I was one of the most powerful bankers of my time, and my firm helped finance many of the major infrastructure projects in the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
